Barton’s Teacher Education Program is organized around the concept of the evolving professional teacher. Along with our commitment to providing you with the pedagogical skills you need in the classroom, we provide you with knowledge of content, cultural responsiveness, and leadership skills. And we do so in a supportive, nurturing environment that produces graduates who love learning, who seek continued professional growth, who can reflect on their teaching effectiveness, and who have the confidence it takes to inspire students.
